Professor of Systematic Theology and Holistic Development; theological consultant. As a researcher, teacher, local church pastor, leader, visiting lecturer in various theological faculties and Bible seminaries in Africa, he has a creative spirit. He has supervised and continues to supervise many students of all levels and participates in the defense juries for the Masters and the Doctorate.
He is also a member of the research team of the Faculty of Theology (Contextual Ministry Center) of the University of Pretoria in South Africa within the framework of the research project of the Nagel Institute on the theme: “Urban Africa 2050: Imagining Theological Education/Training for Thriving African Cities”. He published recently ‘Pentecost of the city’: Towards an African urban migratory theology in https://missionalia.journals.ac.za/pub/article/view/390.
As writer and author, he is the President of Foundation Adonaï-Yireeh House, a ministry of teaching, seminars, radio broadcasts, holistic development, editing and publication of theological works.
He is the Senior Pastor of the Siloé Baptist Community of Kandévié-Siriki (CBSKS) / Porto-Novo in Benin and also the Technical Assistant to the General Secretary of All Africa Baptist Fellowship (AABF).
Afolabi Ghislain Agbèdè is married to Ilboudo Ladnewende Eveline and together they have four children.
